Jewelry Care Guide

We recommend that you take good care of your jewelry during daily use, treat them with cautious care to preserve their original gloss and elegance.

It is generally recommended that you avoid scratches and contact with chemical liquids, perfume, hair spray, and washing liquid when wearing the jewelry, as exposure to these irritants can easily reduce the gloss of the jewelry.

Do not wear your jewelry during physical exercise of any kind, housework, swimming, and any other sports activities may damage your jewelry.

After daily use, we recommend storing your jewelry in the original jewelry box and avoiding exposure to direct sunlight and humid environments. Do not expose your jewelry to the moisture of the bathroom for long periods of time.

Fine jewelry adorned with diamonds, precious gemstones or pearls should be examined once a year by the professional jewelers. It can be difficult to spot with the naked eye, which may constitute a risk of stones or pearls loose or even lost.

Diamond Jewelry Care
All diamonds from SKADIS Jewelry are natural and classified as G-H/VS-SI or higher, and exquisitely brilliant-cut in the near top-grade classified as “Very good” to “Excellent”. We guarantee conflict-free diamonds purchased from authorized diamond dealers in agreement with the resolutions of The United Nations.

To keep your diamond jewelry sparkling, regular care is essential. Clean your diamond jewelry gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush, then pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, lotions, and perfumes, which can dull the brilliance of your diamonds. When not in use, store your diamond jewelry in a soft pouch or a lined box to prevent scratches. For lasting brilliance, have your diamonds professionally checked and cleaned periodically.

Cherish your diamonds with care, and they will shine forever.

Pearl Jewelry Care
SKADIS only use high quality freshwater and saltwater pearls in our jewelry. Pearls are organic gems with various colors. They are formed within the shell of pearl oysters and are expensive as far as natural gems go. The most valuable pearls occur spontaneously in the wild, but these are extremely rare. Cultured or farmed pearls from pearl oysters make up the majority of pearls currently sold on the market.

Pearls are delicate and require gentle care to maintain their natural luster. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals, as they can damage the pearl’s surface. After wearing, wipe your pearls with a soft, damp cloth to remove oils and residue. Store them separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box to prevent scratches. Pearls thrive with wear, as natural skin oils help maintain their beauty—just remember to put them on last and take them off first.

Treat your pearls with care, and they will glow for many years.

Colored Gems Jewelry Care
The most famous, precious natural gemstones include diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and chrysoberyl (cat’s eye).

Apart from diamonds, all gemstones are collectively categorized as colored gemstones, including diverse precious stones such as: rubies, sapphires, emeralds and semi-precious stones such as tanzanite, opal, aquamarine, tourmaline, topaz, peridot, garnet, etc.

SKADIS only uses exquisite natural gemstones in our jewelry. Colored gemstones are natural mineral crystals. They come from the depths of the Earth, and they are often hidden in the rivers and seas. Impurities, variations and inclusions are the main characteristics of colored gemstones. All their natural features come together to create a unique beauty that prides itself on being natural rather than on being perfect. Natural gemstone is one-of-a-kind, and each piece of jewelry made from colored gemstone is a unique treasure with its own, individual charm.

Keep your colored gemstone jewelry vibrant by handling it with care. Clean gently using lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft brush, avoiding ultrasonic cleaners that may damage certain gems. Protect your jewelry from harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight, which can affect the color and durability of some stones. Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches.

With proper care, your gemstones will shine beautifully for a life time.
