SKADIS Jewelry was founded by jewelry designer and gemologist Yan Li, driven by a deep passion for jewelry and a vision to create unique, timeless designs that tell stories and embrace inner strength.

Born in China, Yan moved to Denmark in December 2006. She holds a BA in International Marketing & Sales from Denmark and a Diploma in Jewelry Design and Gemmology from the International Gemological Institute (IGI) in Antwerp. This strong academic foundation, combined with her entrepreneurial mindset, has shaped her professional journey within the jewelry industry.

Yan began her entrepreneurial path in 2012, building and successfully managing her own jewelry business for eight years until the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 brought unforeseen challenges. During this period, she further expanded her expertise by serving as Business Development Chief at a Danish jewelry company, strengthening her strategic, commercial, and operational capabilities within the Scandinavian market.

In December 2024, she chose to resign and fully dedicate herself to relaunching her own brand — SKADIS Jewelry.

Over the past 20 years, Yan has traveled to more than 40 countries and numerous cities worldwide, enriching her cultural insight and shaping her creative vision. SKADIS Jewelry is inspired by the Norse goddess Skadi — a symbol of strength, independence, and elegance. Rooted in Scandinavian design values and enriched by global inspiration, the brand represents modern style and empowerment.
